BOSTON -- Bruins coach Claude Julien switched up the lines in the third period of Tuesday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, and he continued mixing and matching with the forward group at Wednesday's practice at TD Garden.
Nathan Horton was dropped from the No. 1 line after his ill-timed misconduct penalty in the third period last night. He was skating with Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand on the team's second line Wednesday. Chris Kelly, who fought during Tuesday night's game, which had a more inspirational result, was centering the B's top line with Milan Lucic and Tyler Seguin on the wings.
"I wish I could stand here and pretend I'm a genius, but I don't know what I'm going to get," Julien said. "I just know what I was getting wasn't good enough."
