The Stanley Cup Finals just ended, but it's not too early to think about next year.

The Pittsburgh Penguins emerged as favorites to win the 2014 Stanley Cup, as Bovada puts them at 13-to-2 odds, best among all 30 teams. This year's champion Chicago Blackhawks are 15-to-2 odds to repeat, while the Bruins, runners-up, are placed at 9-to-1 odds.

The four teams that reached the conference finals this year -- Penguins, Blackhawks, Bruins and Kings -- were the last four Stanley Cup champions, so it's no surprise to see them among the favorites in the league. They are four of the five teams that have the best odds, according to Bovada.

Right after the 2011 season, the Canucks were 5-to-1 favorites to win the title in 2012, while the eventual champion Blackhawks had the ninth-best odds (15-to-1) to win the Cup.

As for teams with low odds? The Florida Panthers are 100-to-1 odds to win the 2014 Stanley Cup.
