If you're on social media, then chances are you've seen someone take a bucket of ice water and dump it on his or her head.
You've probably seen this a lot, actually, over the last few days.
It's gone viral - but unlike some things that go viral, this one is for a good cause.
It's called the Ice Bucket Challenge, and it's to raise awareness and money for ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). Pete Frates, a former Boston College pitcher, was diagnosed with the disease roughly two years ago, and has since worked towards finding a cure.
Many of the challenges given and videos made are to honor him.
Pro athletes and figures are getting in on the fun as well, especially members of the Bruins. Bruins players such as Gregory Campbell, Brad Marchand, and Torey Krug have all posted videos, challenging one another in the process.
Recently, Johnny Boychuk was challenged.
After accepting the challenge, he then challenged Patrice Bergeron, Daniel Paille, and . . . CSNNE's own Joe Haggerty.
Haggs was ready for the call.
We'll find out if former Bruins tough guy Shawn Thornton as well as CSNNE's Mike Giardi and Kevin Walsh answer the bell.
