The Bruins allowed two goals in 17 seconds in the closing moments of Game 6, as the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup at the TD Garden on Monday night.

A defeated Bruins locker room was at a loss for words after the deciding game. The team fought through injuries, some of which were severe, and the emotion was evident in each postgame interview. While the loss will stick with the Bruins a long time, Bob Beers thinks that the right team was celebrating at the end of the night.

"Chicago wanted it," Beers said. "They went out and got it, and they earned it."

Beers recognized the disappointment of Boston's season but added that the team can't overlook the accomplishments they had along the way.
