CHICAGO – The Bruins and Blackhawks are finally ready to drop the puck after the pomp and circumstance of Stanley Cup Finals Media Day. It appeared the lineups are going to be the same as the last couple of days of practice. The Bruins won’t be making any changes to their lineup, but the Blackhawks will be going with tough guy Brandon Bollig over the skilled Victor Stalberg. They will also continue with Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews on different lines to start the series, as they have done for most of the season.

One has to wonder if playing the rugged Bollig over the offensive Stalberg is part of a Blackhawks plan to try to match Boston’s physicality and toughness, a plan that backfired badly on the Pittsburgh Penguins in the conference finals.

Here are the expected line combos and D-pairings for the Bruins based on the pregame warm-up at the United Center:

Lucic-Krejci-Horton

Marchand-Bergeron-Jagr

Daugavins-Peverley-Seguin

Paille-Kelly-Thornton

Chara-Seidenberg

Ference-Boychuk

Krug-McQuaid
