Patrice Bergeron may have been the hero, but he wasn't about to take all of the credit for the Bruins' win.
Though Bergeron scored the game-winning goal with 4:41 left in double overtime to lift the Bruins to a 2-1 win over the Penguins in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, he knows the team wouldn't have gotten the opportunity to win without the stellar play of goaltender Tuukka Rask.
Rask made 53 saves, including 29 after the second period, denying any chance of the Penguins stealing a game in Boston.
"He's been great all playoffs and given us the saves that we need and the energy, the momentum that we need to do the job in front of him," said Marchand, whose goal gave the Bruins a 3-0 series advantage. "They had some really good looks that we should have done a better job defensively, and he bailed us out."
