The Bruins are on the doorstep of their second Stanley Cup title in the last three season, and center Patrice Bergeron is one of the main reasons why.
Bergeron, who has been a consistent defensive presence throughout the playoffs, had one of his best efforts in Game 3 against the Blackhawks on Monday. Not only did Bergeron shut down Patrick Kane, but he put seven shots on net and scored a power-play goal for Boston.
On Sportsnet Central, Mike Giardi caught up with Bergeron's teammates to discuss the center's play and what he brings to the team in terms of leadership. His teammates all agree that Bergeron matches his on-ice ability with an infectious personality.
"He's the kind of guy you want dating your daughter," Brad Marchand said.
