Blakely: Recap of brawl between Celtics, Nets

BOSTON The outcome of the Boston Celtics game against the Brooklyn Nets didn't matter past halftime.
That's because this game will be most remembered for an incident with 29.5 seconds to play in the second quarter that ultimately led to the ejection of three players -- Boston's Rajon Rondo along with Brooklyn's Gerald Wallace and Kris Humphries.
Here's a recap of the incident that will likely involve at least one player (probably Rondo) having to serve some type of suspension.
With less than 30 seconds to play in the first half, Kevin Garnett tries to drive to the basket past Kris Humphries.
Humphries delivers a left-handed push in the middle of Garnett's chest, throwing him off balance and sending him to the floor.
Rajon Rondo approaches Humphries after the play and delivers a two-handed push.
Humphries retaliates.
The two get tangled up, but not before replays show what appears to be Rondo throwing multiple punches in Humphries' direction.
More players spill into the stands, including Paul Pierce and Brandon Bass. But neither player was actively involved in the incident.
Coaches from both teams make their way towards the incident, trying to separate the players.
Officials go to the scorer's table to review the incident.
They rule two technical fouls on Kris Humphries, an automatic ejection.
Wallace is called for one technical for the incident. Because it was his second of the game, he was ejected.
Rajon Rondo was then ejected for his role in the incident.
Garnett was whistled for a technical foul for his role in the incident.
Garnett, fouled on the play, made both of his free throws.
Nets coach Avery Johnson called a time-out after Garnett's free throws.
The second quarter resumed without incident, as the Nets went into halftime with a 51-38 lead.
