According to ESPN Chicago, Derrick Rose -- who's been out since suffering a groin injury on March 12 -- may return to the Bulls' lineup Thursday night.
Against -- guess who? -- the Boston Celtics.
"It was very encouraging," said Bulls coach (and former Celts assistant) Tom Thibodeau after Rose participated in practice Wednesday for the first time since being hurt.
"It was a serious injury," general manager Gar Forman said Tuesday. We knew it was probably going to take a while, but different guys heal from different injuries at different speeds. You never know. The positive again is he has never taken a step back. The process has been good, and hopefully we'll have him back either later this week or into next week."
Just in time for the Celtics.
