Rondo, Garnett among leading All-Star vote getters

BOSTONThe Boston Celtics may be struggling to win games, but you wouldn't know it by the latest round of All-Star ballots.

The C's currently have two players -- Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett -- who are on track to start in next month's All-Star game.

Fans across the globe vote for the starting five, which consists of two guards and three frontcourt players.

Rondo is currently second among Eastern Conference guards with 675,822 votes. He trails Miami's Dwyane Wade, who has 765,077 votes.

Garnett is third among Eastern Conference frontcourt players with 390,751 votes. He trails Miami's LeBron James (1,151,304 votes) and New York's Carmelo Anthony (1,054,099).

In the Western Conference, the current starting five has an all-Los Angeles backcourt of Lakers star Kobe Bryant -- who leads all vote-getters with 1,177,456 votes -- and Clippers point guard Chris Paul with 651,893 votes. The Western Conference frontcourt starters currently are Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant (1,088,797), Lakers big man Dwight Howard (716,671) and Clippers forward Blake Griffin (593,024).
