It was an all-around effort from Doc Rivers' team Saturday afternoon, with the Celtics notching a big win over the Toronto Raptors. But it was the defense that stood out to Rivers, who praised the 'D' in his postgame comments.
"I though our defense was the difference," said Rivers. "I thought the first quarter our defense was fantastic throughout."
"I think overall when you hold a team to 89 points, they shoot 43, no matter what you do offensively, it's your defense that won the game for you."
