AUBURN HILLS, Mich.The Boston Celtics will be without Darko Milicic tonight when the C's face his former team, the Detroit Pistons.
Milicic, drafted by the Pistons with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft - behind LeBron James but ahead of superstars Carmelo Anthony, Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, among others - is not with the team due to a family matter according to team officials.
The absence of Milicic will have little to no impact, not with him seeing limited minutes in just one game this season.
Jason Collins, who missed Saturday's game due to a family matter, is back with the team.
