Now that the Celtics have gone out and acquired Jason Terry, does that mean Ray Allen will decide to skip town and sign somewhere else?
Not necessarily. It seems as though this may have been Boston's plan all along. Avery Bradley is coming off an injury so to protect themselves at the shooting guard position they were hoping to sign both Terry and Allen. But will Allen go along with the plan? That part is debatable.
"I think it's entirely conceivable (Allen returns) if he wants to," Michael Felger said on Uno's Sports Tonight. "But half of me thinks he wants to go to Miami to kick the Celtics' asses in the playoffs next year because I don't think he likes the fact that he was sent to the bench for Bradley.
"I don't think he loves Rajon Rondo. I think there are issues there. If Allen takes half the amount of money to go to Miami, doesn't that tell you the way he feels about how some of the things were left here in Boston?"
