How do the Celtics replace Rajon Rondo?

Share

By now, you've heard the news: Rajon Rondo is out for the remainder of the season with a torn ACL.

So, what does that mean for the Celtics?

Mike, Tommy, and Scal try to make sense of it all, but one thing is clear: the Celtics guards are going to have to step it up in his absence.

"You're not going to replace Rajon Rondno, but you're going to do it collectively," Scalabrine said. "If he is out for the rest of the season, then the Celtics just found what their identity is. That's 88 shots in two overtimes (vs. Heat on Sunday). They're going to be a slow-down, grind-it-out team that tries to execute in the half-court, and tries to run once in a while when they get stops."

Courtney Lee and Jason Terry are two guards that will see their roles increase with the loss of Rondo, but the guys have much more on the topic in the video, so check it out.
