Paul Pierce was hot Tuesday night, his first really good game this preseason.
CSNNE's Tommy Heinsohn says that's the only sign he needs to see from Pierce to know he'll be ready for the season.
Another guy who impressed Tommy was Jared Sullinger, a rookie who looks to dig in on the glass and battle for boards.
"That's a dimension that the Celtics have not had in a long, long time," Tommy said of Sullinger's willingness to go after rebounds.
