Former Boston Celtic Leon Powe will play for the Chicago Bulls Las Vegas Summer League
team, CSNNE.com has learned. This could change should he sign with a team before the league
begins on July 13.
Powe, 28, did not play in the NBA last season. The 6-8 power forward played for Atlticos de San Germn in Puerto Rico in March.
Powe played his first three NBA seasons with the Celtics and was a member of the 2008
championship team. He has also played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and, most recently, the
Memphis Grizzlies. Powe has a career average of 6.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.
