ATLANTAKeyon Dooling is one of the more level-headed, even-keeled players you'll find in the NBA.
But there was no mistaking the anger and frustration the Boston Celtics guard felt when details began to surface surrounding the growing rift between union president Derek Fisher, the union's executive committee and its executive director, Billy Hunter.
More than anything else, Dooling was troubled by the leaking of classified union information that included, among other things, the executive committee - which Dooling is a member of - seeking Fisher's resignation.

"I'm a union man, and I don't air union business," said Dooling, who is vice-president of the NBA player's association. "I wish that every man that's a part of our union would have the same principles as I do.
Dooling added, "it upsets me that we don't have the same cohesiveness that tight-knit organizations have, for whatever reason. It's ridiculous, it's hideous, it disgusts me that we can't keep our union business in-house."
BothSI.comand Yahoo! Sports reported that Fisher was pursuing an internal review of the union's "business practices" even though the executive committee said such a review was "unnecessary."
A memo sent to union members from Hunter - who appears to have the support of the executive committee - was obtained bySI.comthat indicated the committee, "voted to rescind the resolution it made last week to conduct a review of the NBPA's practices and finances" because "the review was unnecessary since there had ben a recent independent audit of the NBPA's finances which raised no issues."
The fact that all that information is out there for public consumption, does not sit well with Dooling.
"It's simple; somebody's telling. Somebody's talking," Dooling said. "I'm not airing union business. It's ridiculous. I'm a union man. I want to protect the integrity of our players and what we fight for and what's our rights. We don't do that through the media and through the public. It does no good, to have that out."
