Could Bass price himself out of Boston?

Brandon Bass doesn't have to think about a sign-and-trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for O.J. Mayo anymore, seeing as the Grizzlies didn't make Mayo a qualifying offer, which in turn makes him an unrestricted free agent.

But Bass is still looking to cash in, and being an unrestricted free agent himself coming off a career year, it shouldn't be hard.

CSNNE.com Celtics Insider A. Sherrod Blakely offered a glimpse of the type of money Bass is looking for in his next contract, and it doesn't look like there's a whole lot of wiggle room for Danny Ainge and the Celtics.

"He wants to be north of four years, 25.7 million dollars," Blakely told CSNNE's Greg Dickerson on the Celtics Draft Show. "I was told that that would be a point of discussion starting point. And I don't know how much more Danny is going to go beyond that, but certainly he's looking to get a little bit more than Glen Davis got."

So, would you be willing to give Bass a deal in the range Blakely says he's looking for?
