This morning the NBA announced that the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks will be participating in exhibition games against some of the top Euroleague Basketball teams as part of NBA Europe Live 2012.
The Celtics will be playing in two games, the first of which will be played on October 5, 2012 against Fenerbahce Ulker Istanbul at Ulker Sports Arena in Istanbul, Turkey. Fenerbahce Ilker Istanbul are five time champions of the Turkish league.
The second contest matches the Celtics up against the 25-time Italian champions, EA7 Emporio Armani. This game is scheduled for October 7, 2012 and will be played at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy.
This is the sixth installment of the NBA Europe Live Tour and it will be the second time that the Boston Celtics have participated. The Celtics last participated in 2007 but did not compete against any European teams.
