So you want to be a professional basketball player, huh?
Well consider yourself lucky because the Boston Celtics will be hosting invitation-only tryouts for their NBA D-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws, at the Celtics practice facility in Waltham, MA on September 22.
The deadline to apply for a tryout is September 7 and space will be limited.
Included in the tryout will be individual skills work, team drills, and scrimmages. Up to three players from the tryouts could receive an invitation to the Red Claws training camp in November.
Participants must meet NBA D-League player eligibility requirements.
