BALTIMORE -- The Red Sox rode three homers from three unlikely power suppliers -- the bottom three hitters in their order -- and pulled out a 6-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday afternoon, giving them a winning road trip and a third visit to the .500 level this season.
No. 7 hitter Daniel Nava broke a 2-2 tie in the sixth inning with a solo homer, and two batters later, No. 9 hitter Kelly Shoppach added a two-run shot.
In the eighth inning, after the Orioles closed to 5-4, Scott Podsednik added a solo shot for insurance, his first homer in the majors since Sept. 6, 2010.
The Sox survived a rocky start from Daniel Bard and some suspect relief work to gain the win.
Bard, though he gave up only five hits, also walked four and hit another batter. Still, he got credit for the victory, improving to 4-5.
Andrew Miller, Rich Hill, Vicenta Padilla and Alfredo Aceves finished up for the Red Sox. Miller gave up two runs -- his first this season -- while Padilla was nicked for a run in the eighth.
Aceves, though, was perfect, retiring all four batters he faced in notching his 11th save in 13 opportunities.

The victory gave the Red Sox a 5-3 road trip and brought an end to a stretch that saw them play 20 games in 20 days. The Red Sox are 4-0-1 in their last six series.
Kevin Youkilis, who homered in his return to the lineup Tuesday night, collected two more hits (singles) and a walk.
