Notes: Crawford to DH in Gulf Coast League game

BOSTONLeft fielder Carl Crawford is in Fort Myers at the teams training complex continuing his rehab from off-season surgery on his left wrist and a subsequent elbow injury.Manager Bobby Valentine said Crawford is scheduled to get into a Gulf Coast League game on Saturday serving as the designated hitter.-- Kevin Youkilis is out of the starting lineup for Thursdays series finale against the Marlins. Valentine said it was just a night off for Youkilis.Yeah, kind of a real humid night last night, running a lot, playing his butt off. Its tough, Valentine. Im not going to put Adrian Gonzalez in the outfielders when I have enough outfielders, thats for sure.-- Second baseman Dustin Pedroia, who sat out Wednesdays game after tweaking his right thumb in Mondays game, is back in the starting lineup tonight.
