Merloni: John Lackey's behavior a disgrace

John Lackey hasn't thrown a pitch for the Red Sox in 2012, but he is still under fire after news broke about more clubhouse shenanigans by the veteran pitcher.

His former teammate, Lou Merloni, doesn't like his behavior, and he thinks he is a bad influence on the Red Sox clubhouse.

"I played with (Lackey), I was pretty tight with him in Anaheim. I've lost a ton of respect, if not all of it, for this guy over the course of the last year and a half." said Merloni. "I don't appreciate what he does on the mound. The fact that this team doesn't have a problem with it speaks a lot about the team. They should, they should have a problem with what he does on the field and shows up other players. To me that's a disgrace. I think he is a bad influence on this team. I'm not sure there is anything they can do."
