SEATTLE -- John Henry had breakfast with Bobby Valentine this morning and made it clear he has no plans to make a change at manager.
The Red Sox principle owner said that his trip West was a "fact-finding" visit.
"I thought it was important to show my face," Henry added.
Henry plans on returning to Boston later today. Valentine to met with general manager Ben Cherington later in the morning.
