BOSTON -- Center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury was in the original starting lineup Sunday morning, but was scratched shortly after that.I was waiting on Ells to get here and work out and see how he felt, manager Bobby Valentine said. And he said he felt all right but wanted to go out and throw just to make sure. So I put the lineup up thinking that the first comment was going to be the lasting comment but after throwing he decided that he needs another day.Ellsbury has been out of the starting lineup for the past four games because of an undisclosed injury, although he did get into Thursdays game in Tampa Bay. Valentine also gave a hint as to what's ailing Ellsbury, though not giving the specific injury. Its just a throwing situation, Valentine said.
