The Red Sox have a win in hand until Alfredo Aceves gives up a ninth-inning homer to blow a save and drop the series finale with the Rays, 4-3.

The Red Sox led 3-2 going into the top of the ninth inning. Aceves walked the lead-off hitter, then gave up a monster two-run home run to Tampa Bay's Sean Rodriguez.

Rays closer Fernando Rodney -- who blew his first save of the season on Saturday night after giving up a game-winning homer to Jarrod Saltalamacchia -- sat down the Sox in order in the bottom of the ninth to give his team the win.
