The playoffs are rapidly approaching. The Red Sox have some decisions to make.
Jon Lester will likely get the ball for Game one, but who will follow him?
Dan Shaughnessy believes John Lackey should get the nod based on how he has performed at Fenway Park.
"I think it's Lackey based on the Fenway splits," said Dan Shaughnessy, "He's a veteran guy, he's started eleven or twelve playoff games. I think they'll go that way."
Lou Merloni agrees with Shaughnessy, saying the splits are just too hard to ignore.
"I think the game one starter is the important one because he's the guy who's going to go in game one and game five if you need it." said Lou Merloni, "Games two and three you can flip a coin. How can you ignore the fact that John Lackey has an ERA of 2.40 at home and 4.40 on the road? So, you give it to him."
