Rangers outfielder Nelson Cruz and Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta will be among the players suspended 50 games by MLB for PED use, according to Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports.

Rosenthal also reported that A's pitcher Bartolo Colon, National pitcher Gio Gonzalez and Blue Jays outfielder Melky Cabrera -- who had been linked to the anti-aging clinic Biogenesis -- will not receive further discipline.
Brewers outfielder Ryan Bruan has already accepted a 65-game suspension for PED use. Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is expected to be suspended as well, but it has been reported that he will appeal.
Cruz would not appeal the suspension and released a statement expressing his regret. Cruz said he was "seriously ill" after he lost 40 pounds after being diagnosed with a gastrointestinal infection. He said he was unsure if he would be able to play. "I made an error in judgment that I deeply regret, and I accept full responsibility for that error," Cruz said.
More to come . . .
