After Saturday's rolling rally, John Farrell stopped by to chat with Jessica Moran and Steve Aveson.
Although he knows it is tough to keep a team intact for an extended amount of time, Farrell expressed desire to keep this year's World Series Champions together.
"It would be great to try and reassemble (the team) to make one more run at it." explained Farrell, "Contract situations, free agency that comes up, that's why it's so unique when everybody comes together at a point in time or comes together for one year. When it clicks and things happen so fluidly, like it did this year, it's a special contribution by many."
Farrell then explained what made this team special as they made a run at the World Series Championship.
"I think the one thing that stands out to me… there was an overriding will to win amongst this group." said Farrell, "Against Detroit it seemed like we were in the sixth inning being no hit, but we found a way to win. That was more about the intangibles and the will to win on their part."
