The Rays had to go through a grueling road through Texas and Cleveland just to get a chance to play the Red Sox in the ALDS.

The Baseball Show panel discussed whether the Rays' game 1 loss can be attributed to fatigue.

Lou Merloni and Sean McAdam believe the Rays will not use that as an excuse.

"I don't look at that one bit," said Lou Merloni, "This is what they do… when a baseball player has a day off it's like a vacation. You got a couple days off here to kind of prepare for each and every one of these games.

Sean McAdam believes manager Joe Maddon will use their recent stretch of games as a rally cry in their run for the World Series.

"I think (Maddon) probably used this as 'we're nomads, we're road warriors here.  We have to go from New York to Toronto to Arlington to Cleveland to Boston.  It doesn't matter.  Whatever they put in front of us we're going to overcome.'" expalined Sean McAdam, "I don't think (travel is) much of a factor."
