Steve Buckley of the Boston Herald sports a beard for $1 beard night at Fenway Park and breaks down how he sees the Red Sox's handling closer Koji Uehara over the final 10 games of the season on "Uno Sports Tonight."

Uehara finally gave up a run Tuesday night in a 3-2 loss after his scoreless streak reached 30 1/3 innings and he had retired 37 consecutive hitters.

Buckley said he doesn't expect the Red Sox to be afraid to use him in the final 10 games because the streak his over and his workload this season.

"I think it would be counter productive if they did so, because like most big league pitchers, he's a creature of habit," Buckley said. "They've got four days off before the playoffs would start and two days off next week."

Is the bad outing Tuesday a warning sign?

"Taking a significant step backward and suddenly becoming mortal I don't that's going to happen," Buckley said. "I don't think you can go from as dominant as he's been all summer to suddenly becoming a ham-and-egger because he gave up a run to the Orioles."
