The saying goes that the quarterback always gets too much credit for a win, and too much blame after a loss. But there's no way around the fact that in the playoffs, quarterback play is of the utmost importance for any team's chances to survive and advance.
In this year's playoffs, there are plenty of quarterbacks with something to prove -- like Houston's Matt Schaub, Atlanta's Matt Ryan and Baltimore's Joe Flacco. There are also the quarterbacks who, if they don't perform up to standard, their team doesn't stand much of a chance -- like Denver's Peyton Manning, Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers and, of course, New England's Tom Brady.
