When our Comcast SportsNet cameras caught Carmelo Anthony waiting near the Celtics bus to confront Kevin Garnett after Boston's 102-96 win over the Knicks last night, social media sites were abuzz. The reactions we found on Twitter ranged from the impassioned, to the hilarious, to the just-plain-bizarre. Check 'em out:
Impossible. KG sleeps standing up. RT @seth_rosenthal: 'Melo's actually in Boston now waiting under Kevin Garnett's bed.

If I'm KG, I'm more worried about LaLa than I am Melo.

Rasheed Wallace was waiting for KG by the Celtics bus, but only because he forgot he's a Knick now.

If you get angry enough at KG to want to fight him at the team bus, HE WON.

I can't believe Carmelo let KG get to him like that tho then again I can

I wish melo would have just dropped KG he would have instantly become my favorite player

Melo didn't do anything when it was said. He waited until it was behind the scenes to handle his business. No suspension

I'm not sure anyone ever self-inflicted as much damage to an MVP campaign in three hours as Carmelo Anthony did tonight.

Honey Nut Cheerios is getting some serious free press right now. Well played Kevin Garnett, well played.

The night would be complete if we find out that Carmelo and Garnett were fighting over the Alabama QB's girlfriend.
Frank Isola (@FisolaNYDN) January 8, 2013
seriously though, if KG and Melo ever got in a fight KG would stand with his hands straight up and Melo would backpeddle faster than a DB
