The Red Sox closed out their series in Toronto, and did so in a big way. The Sox mashed their way to 13 runs on Sunday, thanks in part to Will Middlebrooks' three home runs. Jon Lester pitched seven shutout innings as well, as Boston won, 13-0.

The Celtics followed suit with a win of their own Sunday night at the TD Garden, 107-96, over the Washington Wizards. The bigger news came before the game, when it was announced that Kevin Garnett would return. He finished with 12 points and six rebounds.

And Rob Gronkowski may need surgery on his broken arm again, according to a report in the Boston Globe.
