Abby Chin has the headlines and highlights for Sunday, April 7 including another arm scare for John Lackey and a disappointing showing in Canada for the Bruins.
John Lackey looked good over his 4 1/3 innings until something in his arm went wrong.
Lackey was removed from the game with what was called a right bicep strain. Lackey will fly back to Boston on Sunday for a MRI.
* The Bruins were in Canada for a battle for first place with the Montreal Canadiens and things didn't go well for the B's. The Bruins fail to register a single shot on a 6-on-4 power play in the final minute, and fell to the Habs, 2-1.
* Kevin Garnett returned to full practice for the Celtics on Saturday morning and hopes to play Sunday against the Wizards.
Since shutting KG down, the Celtics have gone 3-5 and are still lobbying for playoff positioning.
Avery Bradley sat out practice on Saturday after sustaining a collarbone injury Friday night against the Cavs. Doc Rivers says he expects Bradley to play on Sunday.
* The Final Four offered two great battles on Saturday with Louisville rallying from a 12-point deficit to beat Wichita State, 72-68.
In the second game of the evening, Michigan solved the Syracuse zone for a 61-56 win.
Louisville and Michigan will face off on Monday night for the NCAA Championship.
