Kevin Walsh has the headlines and highlights for Sunday, May 5, including a Game 2 loss for the Bruins that ties up their series with the Maple Leafs.

* The Bruins were unable to follow up their Game 1 dominance with a similar effort in Game 2. The Maple Leafs came out with a physical brand of hockey and were able to fight off each Bruins attempt at a rally.

The Maple Leafs took a 2-1 lead into the third period on Saturday, thanks to two second-period goals from Joffrey Lupul.

Old friend Phil Kessel netted the game winner in the third period.

* The Red Sox found themselves coming up short against the Texas Rangers on Saturday evening in Arlington.

John Lackey pitched well over five innings (three earned runs), but some defensive lapses behind him saddled the righty with the loss.
