Kevin Walsh has the headlines and highlights for Sunday, April 28th including another third period blown lead for the Bruins.

* It has become an alarming trend for the Bruins. They take a lead into the third period, only to fall apart and walk away with a loss.

Well, it happened again Saturday night.

The Bruins entered the third period with a 2-0 lead over the Capitals, but saw it slip away as the Caps forced overtime.

In the extra period, the Caps wasted no time netting their third and decisive goal, sending the Bruins home with a lot to think about.

The Bruins have one game left and hold their postseason destiny in their own hands. A regulation win against the Senators will earn the Bruins a first round matchup against the New York Islanders. An overtime or shootout win will match them up with the Senators. A loss of any kind will get them a date with the Maple Leafs.

* The Red Sox picked up their fourth straight win with an 8-4 win over the Astros.

Felix Doubront picked up the win and improved to 3-0.

David Ortiz continued to rake, collecting two more hits and three more RBI.

* The Patriots wrapped up the NFL Draft on Saturday but their biggest move wasn't a pick, but rather a trade. The Pats acquired running back LeGarrette Blount from Tampa Bay in exchange for Jeff Demps and a 7th round draft pick.

The Pats did make three draft picks to close out their draft:

Josh Boyce - TCU WR
Michael Buchanan - Illinois DE
Steve Beauharnais - Rutgers ILB
