Were sure there were tons of great tidbits of information and sound bites from the Patriots press conference yesterday (Ha! Who are we kidding? Its the Patriots.), but the big story from it all had nothing to do with the upcoming game in Oakland, or the embarrassing loss to Buffalo. In fact, the big story wasnt about anything that was said.
Tom Brady cut his hair.
Cmon, you knew this was coming. Heres the image tweeted by Chris Forsberg, by the way.

Not sure if this was a request or a challenge by the WGS Boss, but were pretty sure, if nothing else, BleacherReport will have a slide show of all Toms hairstyles over the past decade by weeks end. This, of course, was the Internets response. It was like Michael Bay decided to write about the Pats for a day.
Almost every major sports-covering website had a story on Bradys new haircut since apparently there were no other stories worth talking aboutlike the lack of a Patriots defense or Bradys horrid week. The Boston Globe even decided to write an obit for Bradys hair.
Listen, fellas. The dude cut his hair. Its not like he went bald or anything. Not like he got a Mohawk, a rattail or anything. His hair is still there. But with the way the media is making a big deal about it youd think it was someone like Fabio who went under the scissors.
Could the new do have to do with throwing four interceptions? Is this the NFLs version of getting a new hairstyle and wardrobe after breaking up with the boyfriend? Maybe he decided to stop his heel turn and go back to being a face. Or maybe Giselle got tired of the Euro-ponytail look. Who knows?
Whatever it is, it seems as if his barber may have taken a little too much off the top.
Reporter: Do you remember your first start?
Brady: I dont remember we beat the Chargers.
Reporter: It was the Colts.
Brady: God, see?
Pretty and dumb. Thats how we like em. Oh, and with three Super Bowl titles. Were not cheap in New England. We love the bling.
And if youre in the pro-long locks crowd and arent happy Bradys back to being clean and proper, just remember: It could be a lot worse, a lot worse. Also, New Englands Super Bowls came during the short-hair Brady era. This is his throwback look.
