Poor Seton.
Not only did his Yankees get booted from the MLB postseason Thursday night, but the DP Show Danette played his pride against some Detroit fans and, consequently, he lost big at that table too. For three hours Seton had to preface every sentence uttered on Friday's show with a Tigers tribute: "ROAR."
At least he's good on his word.
My attempts to cheer Seton via Twitter...
...didn't go over the way I'd hoped.
Fair point.
But his (almost) alma mater Mountaineers are expected to flay my Huskies this weekend. In front of lots and lots of people. So don't be surprised if I'm wearing West Virginia gold and blue for Thursday night's Quick Slants episode.
And, speaking of things that are gross, I can't get this song out of my head:
Annoyingly catchy. Those We-the-People harmonies at the end get to me. Damn you, John Denver.
