Report: Patriots cut Branch, Hoyer, Koppen among others

It's "Cut Day" around the NFL which means teams have to shave their roster from 75 players to 53 players.

That means a lot of tough decisions have to be made, and the Patriots are no exception.

They reportedly parted ways with wide receiver Deion Branch, backup QB Brian Hoyer and longtime center Dan Koppen today, according to the Boston Globe.

James Ihedigbo also tweeted his departure from the Patriots.
