Kyle Draper has the headlines and highlights for Saturday, June 29th, including the trade that sends Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to the Nets. 

* The remaining two-thirds of the Big Three Era are headed to Brooklyn.

The Celtics and Nets agreed in principle to a trade that would send Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett to Brooklyn in exchange for four players and three draft picks. The only remaining question was 'would Garnett waive his no-trade clause'?

A league source confirmed on Friday that Garnett had indeed waived that clause and will head to NY along with the Truth and Jason Terry.

Boston gets Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Keith Bogans (through sign-and-trade) and former Celtic Kris Joseph.The Celtics also receive future first round picks in the 2014, 2016 and 2018 NBA Drafts.

* The Red Sox extended their current winning streak to four games with a 7-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Allen Webster tossed his best game yet, allowing four runs over six innings.

Dustin Pedroia went 3-for-5 with a run, and Stephen Drew knocked in a couple of runs to pace the offense.

* The Bruins have a number of questions to answer in the coming weeks, most notably regarding free agent Nathan Horton and restricted free agent Tuukka Rask.

The Boston brass has indicated a desire to keep both in Black and Gold.

"I want to keep this team together as best we can," said Bruins owner Jeremy Jacobs.
