Patriots activate Brandon Bolden

FOXBORO -- His four-game suspension for PED use complete, and recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him for the two games prior to his banishment, Brandon Bolden was added to the Patriots' 53-man roster for Monday night's game against the Texans.

Bolden, 22, joined the Patriots as a rookie free agent from Mississippi on May 10, 2012. He played in the first six games and had 43 rushing attempts for 234 yards with two touchdowns and has two receptions for 11 yards this year. Bolden finished with 16 carries for 137 yards for an 8.6-yard average in the Patriots 52-28 win at Buffalo on Sept. 30.
