Officer injured in manhunt stabilized

The transit police officer wounded in a shootout with the Boston Marathon bombing suspect has been identified by authorities. MBTA Police Chief Paul MacMillan says the wounded officer is 33-year old Richard Donohue.

He went into surgery this morning and was in critical condition. He has since been stabilized.

Donahue has a six-month-old child, according to reports.
