Who would you be more comfortable with in net for the Bruins in the upcoming playoff run?

With the playoffs approaching, Arbella Early Edition is asking: who would you be more comfortable with in net for the Bruins, 2010-11 Tim Thomas or this year's version of Tuukka Rask?

The Bruins won the Stanley Cup in 2010-11 with the help of Tim Thomas, who earned the Conn Smythe with a 16-9 record, 1.98 goals-against average and .940 save percentage.

Tuukka Rask has been the starting goaltender in two playoff runs for the Bruins: 2009-10 and 2012-13, the latter of which ended in a Stanley Cup Finals loss.

Who would you be more comfortable with in net? Leave your answers below and watch at 6:30 on Comcast SportsNet.

Mike Giardi debated the question with Kirk Minihane of WEEI and Minihane said "Thomas was in a different stratosphere [in 2011]. But going into the Chicago series [the Stanley Cup Finals last season], the numbers matched up. They were pretty close. I understand he lost that Game [6 to lose the series]. Do I feel not confident because of that game? No. Heading into this postseason, I'll take my chances going into the playoffs with Tuukka."

Giardi pointed out if not for a miracle comeback against the Maple Leafs last spring, Rask, and the whole Bruins team could have been viewed a lot differently.

"But you look at Game 7 of that first round series against Toronto, down 4-1 with 10 minutes to play, maybe jobs are lost and Tuukka doesn't get that fat contract, if Toronto seals the deal," Giardi said.

Minihane said as great as Thomas and the Bruins were in 2011, they also had a close call.

"I think you could say the same thing in '11 with Montreal in a Game 7,"" Minihane said.
