Former Boston Celtics forward Walter McCarty joined Gary Tanguay in studio on Tuesday to talk about the off the court antics displayed by Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony after the Celtics-Knicks game Monday night.
McCarty has experience going up against Garnett years back, but never reacted the way that Melo did.
"It was a lot of fun going up against Garnett, McCarty said. "We were very competitive. I remember getting into little spats with KG, but it was all in fun, it was on the court, it was just our competitive nature. But some guys, when he does that, some guys can't take it. I played with Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce and both of those guys talked a lot of stuff."
Sounds like Garnett is just continuing on the Celtics tradition of getting in opponents' heads.
