Judge: NCAA violated antitrust law

A federal judge handed the NCAA some bad news on Friday.

U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken said the NCAA's rules prohibiting student-athletes from being paid for the use of their name, image or likeness violates antitrust law.

The ruling allows for licensing revenue to be shared in the form of a trust fund that will be established for student-athletes to share.
