One of the bright spots in the Celtics' 120-107 loss to the Heat was the play of Leandro Barbosa.
Barbosa came in during the fourth quarter and immediately sparked the Celtics helping them come back from 18 down all the way to four points. Barbosa is a player who can add instant offense to a team, and that was on display in the first game of the season.
Celtics great and CSNNE analyst Tommy Heinsohn is a fan.
"He's gonna be a weapon," Tommy said. "He's typically going to be good in these type of games where you fall behind."
Tommy went on to say that teams with a player like Barbosa always did well throughout season because they had that added bench option.
So how effective was Barbosa?
In just 16 minutes he scored 16 points on 6-for-8 shooting from the field including 3-for-3 from three-point range.
