Evaluating Ridley's 1,000-yard season

Stevan Ridley was the workhorse on the game-clinching drive for the Patriots. Mike Felger, Troy Brown, and Ty Law evaluate his performance this season.

Ridley surpassed the 1,000-yard mark rushing for the season. Brown said the second-year running back from LSU deserves a lot of credit.

"He hasn't touched the ball as much as these other backs in the league touch the ball," Brown said, pointing out that Ridlely doesn't have a game with 30 carries this season.

Brown said if Ridley was a featured back in the Pats offense - like the Vikings' Adrian Peterson -- Ridley "would have well over 1,500 yards."

Hold on, said Law.

"You not telling me he's going to be the kind of back Adrian Peterson is?" Law asked.

"He's not Adrian Peterson good," Brown conceded. "He's a different type of runner."
