BURLINGTON, MA, April 18,2013 -- The 2013 NBA Playoffs tip-off this weekend and Comcast SportsNet, home of the Boston Celtics, will be the exclusive “local” television destination in the New England market for live coverage of every Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks First Round game.  To tip-off the Playoffs excitement, Comcast SportsNet will bring viewers the Celtics Playoff Preview, a live interactive 90-minute special scheduled to air Thursday, April 18th at 7PM.
 
Celtics Playoff Preview presented by McDonalds,debuting tonight at 7PM, will take a look back at the Celtics regular season, analyze the wins, the losses, and the injuries, and will preview the upcoming Celtics vs. Knicks first round Playoffs series.  With the entire Comcast SportsNet Celtics broadcast team participating in the discussion, viewers will have a chance to hear from the experts and add their own questions and comments via Twitter, Facebook and a live chat on CSNNE.com.
 
Comcast SportsNet’s Playoffs coverage for Game 1 gets underway on Saturday, April 20th at 2 p.m. with Celtics Pre-Game Live presented by Ace Ticket.  Dynamic duo Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn and courtside reporter Greg Dickerson will bring viewers the call for as many as 5 first round telecasts, while the entire Comcast SportsNet Celtics broadcast team will provide fans the best coverage throughout the series.
 
Only Comcast SportsNet will produce live pre and post-game coverage of every game in the Celtics-Knicks series.  Celtics Pre-Game Live and Post-Game Live presented by New England Ford Dealers will be hosted by Gary Tanguay surrounding every matchup. Former NBA forward Donny Marshall will provide in-studio analysis, while this season’s newest member to the broadcast team Brian Scalabrine contributes on-site in New York and Boston from every game.  Additionally, daily network programming will offer game previews and recaps, real-time updates and in-depth analysis.
