BURLINGTON, MA - Comcast SportsNet, the region’s top source for nightly Boston sports reporting, will continue its Playoff Central coverage throughout the Red Sox-Cardinals World Series. Immediately after every World Series game, Gary Tanguay will host an hour of Playoff Central coverage during expanded editions of Chevrolet SportsNet Central. Former Red Sox infielder and current WEEI midday host Lou Merloni and 98.5 the Sports Hub’s afternoon drive host Tony Massarotti will provide analysis.

For World Series games at Fenway, Comcast SportsNet will anchor its coverage from Jerry Remy’s Sports Bar and Grill which overlooks Fenway Park. CSNNE.com Insider Sean McAdam, Jessica Moran and Trenni Kusnierek will report live from the ballpark before and after every single World Series game. For games in St. Louis, Merloni will appear from Busch Stadium along with McAdam and Moran.

Combined with Comcast SportsNet’s coverage on Chevrolet SportsNet Central at 6 p.m. and UNOs Sports Tonight at 12:30 a.m., the network will have two-plus hours of game night coverage focused on the Red Sox’ World Series chase plus coverage of the entire Boston sports scene.

The network’s World Series coverage also includes The Baseball Show on Friday, October 25. Featuring host Bob Neumeier, Merloni, McAdam, Moran and others, The Baseball Show is the only show on Boston TV that gives fans the chance to weigh-in. The Baseball Show will take viewer calls and Tweets from 8:30 to 10 p.m.

On the digital side, McAdam will have pre, post and clubhouse coverage on the Red Sox Talk blog on CSNNE.com. CSNNE.com will also include all of Comcast SportsNet’s video coverage from the ballpark including players interviews, news reports and analysis.
